Broccoli, Pineapple and Spinach Protein Smoothie

1 cup Pineapple chunks

1 small Apple (cored and sliced)

2 teaspoons Chia Seeds

1 stalk Broccoli (washed and sliced)

1 cup fresh Spinach ( washed)

2-3 cubes of Ice or 1/2 cup of ice cold Water or Coconut Water

Add everything to the blender and pulse for about 30 seconds. Enjoy!

Yield ~ 1 cup

1 medium Orange (peeled)

1 large Apple

1 large stalk Celery

1 large Carrot

1 slice Ginger (~ 1 inch or 2.5 cm)

Wash everything well and juice all your ingredients in a juicer. Drink immediately.

Sweet Potato and Chickpeas Dip

1 large Sweet Potato (cooked and peeled)

2 cups Chickpeas (1 can)

1 tsp Curry

1 tsp Garlic powder

3 Tbsp Tahini

1/2 tsp Pepper

1/2 tsp Chili powder

3/4 cup water

Add all ingredients to the food processor. Blend well till smooth. Add more water if need it. Enjoy!

Coffee Ice Cream – No Dairy and No Sugar

2 small ripe Banana

1/4 cup of cold espresso or coffee

Peel the bananas, slice them in 4-5 pieces and put them in the freezer for about 2-3 hours. Make an espresso or a coffee and let it cool. Add bananas and coffee to the Vitamix Blender. Blend well for a few seconds. If need it add a bit more coffee. The consistency should be like for a mousse or  an ice cream. Empty the ice cream in a cup and enjoy.

Yields ~ 1 serving
